This month Kat talked about how she felt she was emerging, finding her rhythm . After reading her post I sat and thought and realised something that November was important to me too. It was a month of realising where my photography was going, and, where I was going with it. For the time being I am just going to be happy with me.... as a keen amateur, I don't want at this point to be anything else, I want to continue connecting with all the wonderful people I have met in the blogosphere.
Kim Manley Ort on her blog talks about the 9 habits of Contemplative Living..... this is what I aspire to, what I want to be able to say at the end of 2013 I have achieved some of the 9 habits.
This page sums up my thoughts at the moment. Creativity in all it's forms, simplicity and love.
I have posted this before but November was the month I finally started to love myself....
Thanks to all the wonderful people I have met in such a short time, go and stretch your imagination because you can fly........
With Love

I love that poem over your image and the saying of "you will love again the stranger who was yourself". Nice words
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post, I think we could all learn to love ourselves a little more.
ReplyDeleteHow nice for you to notice where you were going with your photography! I like the image of the plate of stones and crystals. Thank you for visiting my place and for your comment.
ReplyDeleteYou state it so simply, Viv, but that is the hardest and hugest of all accomplishments, really. That is the wellspring of everything that flows in beauty through life. I love your second image so much. I've long loved the Walcott poem and your interpretation is just grand.
